“Double Nickels” a ministry for members & friends 55 and older. Meets quarterly for lunch and activity
“Activity Mondays” 1st Mondays of the month (Oct-May) in the mornings, ladies “drop in” when they can to help with a variety of activities involving community missions, cards, organizing, cooking, special projects
Inreach:
Meals to Bless a program to provide meals for those who are ill or those who have a special need or request. Nikki Slaton is the coordinator
Missions Committee
Encouraging involvement of women in community mission opportunities through ministries of outreach.
Neighboring program each year we support different local families in need by helping in one or more of the following ways: School uniforms, Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas Giving Tree, Electric Bill assistance
Local organizations Periodic collections to assist Food Bank, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Fairhaven and Trinity Christian Community
Worship Committee
Encouraging involvement of women in service to the church through support of the worship celebration
Christmas Preparations gathering to fellowship and decorate the sanctuary for this special season.
Easter Lilies and Christmas Poinsettias
Recognitions at special times of the year (graduation, baptisms), the women acknowledge with a small gift
